Dr. Ahmad Raza, MD, MHA is a Staff Physician within the Medical Oncology Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Cancer Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Raza served as Assistant Professor of Hematology and Oncology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center New York, US, and as Director, Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center NewYork Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, US.

Dr. Ali Saeed Wahla, MBBS, is a Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Wahla worked as a consultant physician in the Department of Intensive Care at King Abdul Aziz Medical City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for a year. Prior to his role in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Wahla worked as a Consultant Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Lahore, Pakistan. It was here that he co-established the first Interventional Pulmonary program in the country. During this time, he also served as the Director of the Intensive Care Unit, where he established and ran a respiratory therapy training program.

Dr. Andres Obeso, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Thoracic Surgery Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Obeso was on faculty at Santiago de Compostela University Clinical Hospital, Spain.

Dr. Obeso received his medical degree from Santiago de Compostela University in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He completed his residency at Hospital Xeral in Vigo, Spain.
In 2018, he was appointed Clinical Associated Professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, US.

Dr. Arif Al-Mulla MB, BCh, FRCPC, FACC
Dr. Al-Mulla received his medical degree from University College Cork, Ireland in 1997. He finished his Internal Medicine Residency Program (2005), Cardiology Residency Program (2008) and his Heart Function and Heart Transplant Fellowship Program (2009) from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as being certified by the National Board of Echocardiography.

His main interests are managing patients with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, patients with Acute and Chronic Heart Failure, Echocardiography and Invasive Cardiac Hemodynamics. He is actively involved in teaching.

Some of his achievements throughtout his career are; receiving two Sheikh Hamdan Awards for Medical Sciences for outstanding medical department in the government sector (Cardiology Department in Dubai Hospital and Cardiac Sciences Institute in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi), improving the heart failure management in multiple institutions, establishing pulmonary hypertension services in multiple institutions and initiating 24/7 primary PCI program in Dubai Hospital.

Currently he is the Division Chief of Adult Cardiology, Dubai Hospital, Dubai Health, United Arab Emirates

Dr. Batool Jamal Abuhalimeh, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Vascular Surgery Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute.
Dr. Abuhalimeh received her medical degree from the University of Sharjah, UAE, and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, Ohio, US. She then completed her Vascular Medicine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, US.

Currently, Dr. Abuhalimeh resides in Abu Dhabi. When she’s not working at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Abuhalimeh enjoys horseback riding.

Daniel Culver, DO, is Chair of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Cleveland Clinics Main Campus. He holds a joint appointment in the Department of Inflammation and Immunity. His clinical interests include interstitial lung diseases, sarcoidosis, pulmonary alveolar proteinosis, and critical care.

Dr. Culver earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. After medical school, he did an osteopathic rotating internship at Meridia South Pointe Hospital. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Culver is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of several professional associations, including the American Thoracic Society, the American Osteopathic Association and the World Association of Sarcoidosis. He is the President of the World Association of Sarcoidosis and Other Granulomatous Disorders.

Dr Edward Black graduated from Guy’s Medical School, London in 1992. He trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Oxford, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield and Edinburgh gaining his CCST in 2005. He started his career as a Consultant General Thoracic Surgeon in Nottingham University Hospitals in 2006 establishing VATS lobectomy mesothelioma surgery and began a long interest in rib fracture repair. After moving to Oxford University Hospitals in 2009 he developed his interests in general adult and paediatric surgery and established the MatrixRib system for rib fixation. In 2014 he moved to SEHA and cemented modern minimally invasive surgery as a routine for surgical management of chest diseases. He has continued in SEHA since then though rotating through several centers he is back in Al Ain at the new STMC Hospital and Tawam the original center of cancer surgery in the UAE. He maintains a general adult practice with special interest in mediastinal and locally advanced pulmonary diseases.

Dr. Fadi Hamed, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Critical Care Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He is also Program Director of the Transitional Year.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Hamed worked as Associate Staff in the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Hamed is a Diplomate in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He is also a member of several organizations including the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society. His specialty interests include advanced lung disease, lung transplant and medical intensive care.
Dr. Hamed earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan in Amman. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, US, where he also served as a Chief Medical Resident for one year on completion of his residency training. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, US.

Dr. Govinda Saicharan Bodi, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Bodi worked as a Specialist Pulmonologist in various hospitals in the UAE, including Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi for six years. Prior to that, Dr. Bodi worked as an Assistant Professor of Pulmonology for twelve years at the reputable Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, one of the oldest medical institutes in India. He also worked as an honorary consultant during this time at Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad, India.

Dr. Bodi has eighteen years of experience in the field of Pulmonary Medicine, with a special interest in the management of airway disorders, pulmonary infections (including multidrug resistant tuberculosis), sleep apnea and autoimmune mediated lung diseases. His research interests include the health benefits of meditation and yogic breathing and has published journals and presented in various international conferences.
Dr. Bodi resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife, son and daughter and his hobbies include traveling, walking and reading. He is passionate about promoting human wellbeing through spirituality.

Dr Greg T. Mogel, MD, FACR is 4DMedical’s Chief Medical Officer. Greg is a practicing radiologist and physician executive with a long career in medicine and engineering serving in government, academia, and industry. He is dedicated to making healthcare more affordable, effective, and compassionate. With a focus on process improvement and clinical redesign, he previously held multiple leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente—playing a central role in the establishment of Lung Cancer Screening across the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in the United States. Greg remains engaged in teaching, clinical practice, and research.

Dr. Hassan Alnuaimat, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the University of Florida, US.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Alnuaimat was a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, US. Dr. Alnuaimat received his medical degree from the University of Jordan School of Medicine in Amman Jordan and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Yale affiliated Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport Connecticut and Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Throughout his tenure, Dr. Alnuaimat has specialized in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He has advanced specialization in Pulmonary Hypertension, Lung Transplantation and ECMO support. He was the founder and Director of the PHA comprehensive care center for Pulmonary Hypertension Program at the University of Florida. He was a leader in the 5th highest volume lung transplant program in the United States. Dr. Alnuaimat was the Director of the Respiratory ECMO Program and the Director of the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) Program at the University of Florida. Dr. Alnuaimat is a well accomplished researcher. He has authored numerous research articles in leading peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Alnuaimat has lectured at, and his research work was presented in, numerous scientific meetings. He is an excellent clinical educator and has received numerous teaching awards.

Dr. Irfan Shafiq, MBBS, is a Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Shafiq served as a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Lymington New Forest Hospital, Southampton, UK, where he also held the post of Clinical Services Director. He also served as Honorary Consultant at the University Hospital Southampton in the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit.

Dr. Isabel Mira, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.

Dr. Mira is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Jeffrey Chapman, MD, is the Institute Chair of the Respiratory Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Chief of the Quality & Patient Safety Institute. In his dual role, Dr. Chapman oversees a team focused on implementing high quality, patients first philosophy which uses the latest technology to enhance quality, drive patient safety and address critical care needs in the fields of respiratory and critical care medicine.

Before moving to Abu Dhabi, he served as a Staff Physician at US-based Cleveland Clinic from 2000 to 2011. Dr. Chapman specializes in the treatment of interstitial lung disease, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, lymphangioleiomyomatosis and connective tissue disease, as well as lung transplantation.

Dr. José L. Díaz-Gómez, MD, MAS, NCC (UCNS), FASE, FCCM, is Institute Chief of the Integrated Hospital Care Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
His immediate previous position was chief of cardiothoracic, mechanical circulatory support, and transplant critical care at The Texas Heart Institute at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, TX.
Dr. Díaz-Gómez is a cardiac anesthesiologist and critical care medicine specialist who has dedicated his career to contributing to the clinical practice, research, and education related mainly to the fields of perioperative and critical care ultrasonography. His initial investigations on critical care ultrasonography education highlighted the interdisciplinary application of this tool in critical care practice. He subsequently proposed alternative techniques in advanced critical care ultrasonography for specific patient populations, such as pulmonary hypertension and mechanical circulatory support. Lastly, he has shown increased safety by applying real-time ultrasonography for bedside procedures such as thoracentesis.

Dr. Díaz-Gómez was a former Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in 2018. And he started the review process for academic rank promotion as Professor of Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine. He received a master’s in applied science at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at John Hopkins University in 2023. And he is pursuing an MBA program at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Díaz-Gómezs his medical degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellin, Colombia. He completed his residency and further cardiac anesthesia training at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, and his fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.
Dr. Díaz-Gómezs research contributions include over 75 peer-reviewed publications in critical care medicine and ultrasonography; an edited book in critical care ultrasonography; an edited critical care ultrasound booklet; a dozen non-peer reviewed publications and two dozen book chapters. He is the co-chair of the upcoming SCCM critical care ultrasonography guidelines and he has been re-elected as the Anesthesia designated seat within the SCCM Council. He is a member of the SCCM Biomarkers Leadership Task Force and leads the Cardiac Biomarkers group.
Dr. Díaz-Gómez holds the Fellowship in the American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM) and the Fellowship in the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE).

Dr. Khaled M. Saleh, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Saleh served as a Staff Physician at John C. Lincoln and Paradise Valley Hospitals in Phoenix, Arizona, US. He also held various positions at private practices in the US upon completion of his fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio, US, in 2001.

Dr. Lubna Alhourani, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Alhourani was an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville Florida, US. Dr. Alhourani received her medical degree from the University of Jordan School of Medicine in Amman, Jordan, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and sleep medicine Fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville Florida.

Dr. Mahdi Shkoukani, MD, is Division Chair of Otolaryngology (ENT) within Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Surgical Institute.

He is also a Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Learner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. Also, Dr. Shkoukani is the Medical Director for Supply Chain Operations at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Shkoukani is a double American Board-certified surgeon in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, as well as in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

He received his Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine with high distinction. He then completed a general surgery internship and residency in Otolaryngology at Wayne State University. Following his residency, he completed a Craniomaxillofacial/ Skull Base and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, US.

He received his Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine with high distinction. Dr. Mahmoud Elkaissi, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Diagnostic Radiology & Imaging Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Diagnostics Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Elkaissi worked as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.

Dr. Elkaissi received his medical degree from a University in Kaunas, Lithuania. He completed his residency at King Hussein Medical Center Amman, Jordan.
Dr. Elkaissi resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and three children.

Dr. Manyoo Agarwal, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Cardiovascular Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute.
Dr. Agarwal also holds an academic appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, US.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Manyoo was at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center, US, where he specialized in Cardiovascular Medicine, Advanced Cardiac Imaging and Cardio-Oncology.

Dr. Agarwal received his medical degree from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, India, and then completed Internal Medicine training and was chosen to be Chief Resident at the University of Tennessee Health Science, US. He holds additional experience in Cardiovascular Physiology and outcomes-quality improvement research from his work at Harvard University, Boston, US.
Dr. Manyoo is American Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Imaging and Cardiac CT imaging. His research interests include data science, outcomes and quality improvement. He has published more than 130 papers and abstracts in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Manyoo is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and holds membership with the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Mateen Uzbeck, MBBS, is a Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Uzbeck worked as a Consultant within the Health Service Executive Ireland. He has a special interest in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for benign and malignant diseases of the lung and pleura, including Therapeutic Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound, Electromagnetic Navigation Bronchoscopy, Pleuroscopy and Bronchial Thermoplasty.

Dr. Uzbeck completed his postgraduate specialist training in Ireland and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine by the Irish Committee for Higher Medical Training. He also obtained a Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology from the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, rated as one of the top cancer centers in the US.
Dr. Uzbeck has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented original research in international scientific meetings and conferences.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Houqani, MBBS, FRCPC, MPH

Dr. Al Houqani is Associate Professor at the College of Medicine & Health Sciences, UAEU & consultant of Respiratory &Sleep Medicine at Sleep Disorders Specialized Clinic. He did his postgraduate training at University of Toronto, Canada. His research interest is focused on the epidemiology of Respiratory and Sleep Disorders.

Dr. Paul Ramia, MD, FRCP, is a Staff Physician within the Radiation Oncology Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Cancer Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr Ramia was a Staff Physician at McGill University Health Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and Faculty Lecturer at McGill University.

Dr. Ramia received his medical degree at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and completed his Radiation Oncology residency at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in Stereotactic Radiotherapy at McGill University.

Dr. Praveen Ghisulal, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician within the Critical Care Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ghisulal was an Associate Consultant in Critical Care at Medanta - The Medicity hospital, India.

Dr. Ghisulal received his medical degree from Meenakshi University, India, and completed his residency at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. Throughout his tenure, Dr. Ghisulal has specialized in caring for patients on ECMO support.

Dr. Said Isse, MBBS, is a Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Isse served as a Consultant Pulmonologist in King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he specialized in lung transplantation and cystic fibrosis.

Dr. Isse received his medical degree from the UCL Medical School, London, UK. He completed his residency at the Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, UK.
He then completed his MRCP at the Royal College of Physicians, London, and holds a certificate of completion of specialist training (CCT) from the UK. He also holds an MBA.
Dr. Isse resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports and in particular, football.

Dr. Samiuddin Mohammed, MBBS, is an Associate Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Mohammed worked as a specialist in Respiratory Medicine in Ahalia Hospital, Abu Dhabi. Prior to that, he served as a consultant pulmonologist in various tertiary care hospitals in India for around 16 years. During this time, he was also on the faculty of Bhaskara Medical College in Hyderabad, where he served as an Honorary Associate Professor of Pulmonology.

Dr. Mohammed has around 23 years of experience in the field of pulmonology. He received his medical degree from the Osmania University in Hyderabad, India before completing his residency at the University of Health Sciences in Andhra Pradesh. He has been involved in stem cell therapy research and participated in various clinical trials in India.

Dr. Saniya Khan, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, she was an Academic Assistant Professor and Consultant Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician at the Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, US and its affiliated hospitals.

During this time, Dr. Khan held active responsibilities in the undergraduate curriculum development for respiratory medicine at the university, along with active teaching and demonstration labs for medical students. She also served as an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) instructor and supervised the pulmonary clerkship for medical students.

Dr. See Low, MD is a pulmonologist in Cleveland, OH and has over 5 years of experience in the medical field. She graduated from UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA / COLLEGE OF EDUCATION in 2018. She is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic. She is accepting new patients and telehealth appointments.

Shereen Hassib, MSc, RD is a Registered Dietitian licensed to practice in Canada and the United Arab Emirates. She is a graduate of the Western University of Ontario in London, Canada where she completed her Bachelor and Master’s of Science degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics. Shereen currently works at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD) specializing in critical care. She is responsible for providing Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients in the Cardiac and Thoracic ICU where she actively works to optimize the nutrition status of patients for lung and heart transplantation and also patients on ECMO. Shereen's ability to provide nutritional care and education to patients contains working on a multitude of platforms including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. She is an active member of Dietitians of Canada, the College of Dietitians of Ontario, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Department of Health Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Theodora Kerenidi, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician within the Pulmonary Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.
She specializes in thoracic oncology, including diagnostic assessment, staging and therapeutic approach for malignant diseases of the lung and the pleura, pleural effusions and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Kerenidi was an Assistant Professor of Pulmonology at the University of Thessaly Medical School, Larissa, Greece and worked as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at the affiliated General University Hospital of Larissa, having both clinical and academic responsibilities. She has broad experience in teaching students at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels and the management of residents in the hospital"s Respiratory Medicine Department. Her research interests focus on lung cancer, especially translational research for the evaluation of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers, as well as anti-tumor immune response.

Dr. Kerenidi received her medical degree from the National Medical University of Lviv, Ukraine, before completing her residency in general internal medicine and her fellowship in respiratory medicine at the Sotiria General Hospital of Chest Diseases, Athens, Greece. She has postgraduate training in thoracic oncology as an honorary fellow in the lung unit at Royal Marsden Hospital in London, UK. Dr. Kerenidi is also a member of several international scientific organizations, including the European Respiratory Society, the National Lung Cancer Partnership and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
Dr. Kerenidi resides in Abu Dhabi with her husband and child.

Dr. Usman Ahmad, MD, is Division Chair of Thoracic Surgery within Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabis Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ahmad was a staff surgeon in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, US. He was the director of Thoracic Robotic surgery and assistant director of Lung Transplant programs at Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Ahmad holds a joint appointment with the Taussig Cancer Institute and is Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Yusuf Bayrak, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Thoracic Surgery Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute.
Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Bayrak was Staff Physician and Associate Professor of Thoracic Surgery at Istanbul Medipol University Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey.
Dr. Bayrak received his medical degree from Istanbul University, Istanbul School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his surgical training at Istanbul University, Department of General Thoracic Surgery, Istanbul School of Medicine.

During his tenure, he treated a wide spectrum of complex benign and malignant thoracic disease utilizing minimally invasive thoracic surgery technologies including video thoracoscopic and robotic lung resections and also traditional open surgery techniques. He also served as a teaching faculty at the international medical school.
Dr. Bayraks clinical interests include pulmonary metastasectomy and extended resections for malignant lung tumors. His research interests include fast track surgery, interactions between gut flora and sepsis.

Dr. Zaid Zoumot, MBBS, MSc, PhD, FRCP, is Division Chair of the Pulmonary Medicine Department within Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabis Integrated Hospital Care Institute.
He is also Clinical Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM) of Case Western Reserve University, in the US.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Zoumot worked as a Respiratory Physician at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, UK. He was one of the inaugural physicians who joined Cleveland clinic in 2014. His sub-specialist fields of interest are Interventional Pulmonology, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Asthma, and Lung Cancer. He is also very experienced in managing Sleep Disordered Breathing, Lung Failure and Bronchiectasis.
